Most official documents, contracts and records necessary for the real estate transaction have to be submitted as certified translations of the original, i.e. translations which have been formally verified for use in official purposes by a sworn
translator.
This additional service is provided by one of the founders of our agency,
Drs. Eugenia Bonilla de Issen
Eugenia Bonilla de Issen holds a diploma in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and has been authorized as a (certified) sworn translator by the Regional Court of Amsterdam. She is momentarily affiliated to a few universities in the Dominican Republic where she teaches courses in Spanish literature and linguistics.
